Discover the territory of BeloZ

The BeloZ river in the African savanna divides the territory of BeloZ in four plains prone to flooding. The plains are home to wild animals with a well-established hierarchy. The lion and the leopard dominate the dry land, while the crocodile and the water snake control the flooded plains.

Two teams of two players compete in expeditions to rescue the wild animals of BeloZ. At the start of each play, one team chooses the flooded plain where aquatic animals dominate and disrupt the territory’s power structure.

Choose a flooded plain

At the start of each play, players are dealt 5 cards representing the animals from all plains. On their turn, a player with a strong hand has an opportunity to decide which plain is flooded and commits their team to scoring more points than the other team.

Earn bonus points

The remaining cards of the deck are dealt. Each player has 8 cards and may declare staight flushes and quads to earn bonus points for their team.

Launch rescue expeditions

A play is made of eight rescue expeditions. Each expedition targets a plain set by the first card played at the start of the expedition. Other players play one card from the targeted plain. At the end of the expedition, the team who has played the most powerful animal collects all the cards.

Intercept expeditions

Players who do not have a card from the targeted plain can intercept the expedition with an animal from the flooded plain and collect all the cards.

Score points

At the end of the play, teams add the value of the animals they have rescued plus any bonus points. The team who chose the flooded plain must have more points than the other team to score points.

Strategy, teamwork and a bit of luck will decide the winning team. The first team to reach 1000 points wins.
